Meet the Countertop Basket — the quiet hero of every kitchen. Perfect for gathering all those little “how did these end up here again” bits and bobs, this basket brings order with a touch of handmade beauty. We’ll weave a sturdy, timeless piece sized just right for your everyday essentials, from keys and chargers to recipe cards and tea towels.

This is a complete hands-on class. You will walk away with a completed basket, that is made by you! Our experienced instructor, Wendy Hanson, will guide you through the process of selecting the right materials, preparing them for weaving, and creating a sturdy and attractive basket. You will learn how to weave a basket using traditional techniques.
This class will be inside our barn so make sure to wear shoes that can get wet on the bottom as you will need to step in a sanitizer foot bath to enter.
You will get the opportunity to meet the goat kids of 2026, tour our barn and taste some of our cheeses!
